Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. She joined ESPN in 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was promoted to an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for anchors of sports and weather forecasters. Later, she was anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her larger responsibilities. She wrote pieces to The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. She was the producer of Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. She also served as the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She held the same position in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She is younger than her sister. She is the older sister. The couple divorced soon after and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took a week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked at the time. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she thought her future would be, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. She discovered that she liked the campus and that the school had the program she desired. After completing her studies, she was admitted to the university as a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked over the years, became a friend. It was he who inspired her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her. She was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
