Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. She joined ESPN in 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was promoted to an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She is younger than her sister. She is the older sister. The couple divorced soon after and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took a week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked at the time. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she thought her future would be, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. She discovered that she liked the campus and that the school had the program she desired. After completing her studies, she was admitted to the university as a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked over the years, became a friend.
